Justin Dean Promoted to Director of Network Operations at B3—Dean to Oversee B3's Growing E-Commerce NetworkBurbank, Calif., September 20, 2003 - B3 Corp., a leading provider of private-labeled electronic commerce and electronic payment solutions, has promoted Justin Dean to director of network operations. Dean will supervise network engineering and support for the rapidly growing B3 network, which is used for e-commerce hosting and online payments by major financial institutions such as Bank of America and Wells Fargo, and by global enterprises such as Time Warner.
Dean has been with B3 since 2002 as a senior network engineer, according to Eric Chow, B3's Chief Information Officer.
"One of Dean's primary focuses will be to continue to maintain and improve the formidable security infrastructure that we have in place to protect our customers and the end-users ," said Chow. "He will also oversee teams working to enhance network performance and achieve the highest availability under increasing workloads."
Before joining B3, Dean held network engineering positions with Sempra Energy in San Diego, and with National Reality Trust, where he was responsible for a nationwide network supporting more than 1,000 offices for Coldwell Banker, ERA, Century 21, and other real estate brokerage firms. He also acquired network engineering experience while with the US Marine Corps at Camp Pendleton and in Okinawa, Japan.
Dean has undergone extensive training on a broad spectrum of topics related to network engineering, and has received numerous professional certifications for courses and workshops completed.
